These labels are not only color coded but the number really stands out better than the color dot system I was using. At first I thought the number would get hidden when I placed it on the thin paper back easy reader books but the number is still visible. The numbers are easy for the kids to identify and don't get hidden among the books. They are well worth buying, even if you think your school library is small and you can create your own, like I used to do.
