It needs guides to keep the rolls from spreading out. Definitely regret purchasing as it is more time consuming using it. If it came with guides, it would be more user friendly. Unfortunately we are unable to even find guides for it and will improvise with something else.
Not a very good setup. 1" core works ok, but 2 or 3" core (as shown) labels fall off roll and get tangled. Brodart labels and protectors don't roll nicely off spindles.
