I bought this tabletop unit to display early chapter books. It was easy enough to assemble, and it's sturdy enough, but the shelves could angle a bit more -- the books slide off its slippery surface, and with no front rail of any kind, there's nothing to stop them. I liked the idea a lot, but I would have preferred something I didn't have to modify to make work in my elementary school library.
