I received a sample pack and decided on the Advantage II as the best product for my personal library. It is absolutely GREAT! I used the first roll and ordered a second - in the process there was a discrepancy; however, customer service went above and beyond to make it right! Not only is this a great product, but it is a company that is determined to satisfy their customers! They've earned all my future business!!!
I am quite happy with "Brodart Advantage II Book Jacket Covers" (catalog SKU #:20414002 & SKU #:20414003). As an M.L.S. graduate, in my personal library at home, I use these covers on all my book dust jackets, and have done so for years. Unfortunately, all my family and friends now like them too and are constantly asking me to cover their book dust jackets, especially around Christmas. Every time I buy a 25 pack of the 10" or 12-1/2" sizes thinking the supply will last years, it ends up being used up in more like a few months. I guess I need to consider buying the 100 packs! My only suggestion would be to make the anchoring strip a bit more sticky, as the paper tape strip covering the adhesive comes off too easily while I'm trying to put a hard crease in the top edge of the polypropylene cover to fit it to the top edge of the jacket. But this is only a minor issue, these sturdy book covers are great and really show off the jacket!
I bought several sizes of the Advantage II book jacket covers right after I began seminary because I wanted to make sure the many theological books and Bible commentaries I will be purchasing along the way will remain in good shape for my career in ministry. I'm very pleased with these covers--I no longer have to worry about accidentally ripping the dust jackets as I reference the books!
